February 2012: My essay "Je me souviens" about language and cultural identity in Quebec was just released as part of the book Out of Silence: Censorship in Theatre and Performance at Eyecorner Press.

March 2012: Sila wins First Prize in the Earth Matters on Stage Ecodrama Festival whose mission is to call forth and foster new dramatic works that respond to the ecological crisis, and explore new possibilities of being in relationship with the more-than-human world.

April 2012: Reading of Sila, Working Titles series at Underground Railway Theater (Cambridge, MA) in partnership with the MIT Museum.

May 2012: Reading of Sila at the Carnegie Mellon University conference "Earth Matters on Stage Festival & Symposium."

October 2012: Reading of Sila at the Mount Royal University conference "Under Western Skies 2: Environment, Community & Culture in North America" in Calgary.
