Virginia Climate Change Theatre Action
Randolph-Macon College and the Acting and Directing students in the Theatre Arts Program are pleased to present a staged-reading of plays in support of CLIMATE CHANGE THEATRE ACTION.
CLIMATE CHANGE THEATRE ACTION, presented by NoPassport, The Arctic Cycle, and Theatre Without Borders is a global event, culminating in readings, discussions, and performances, with an objective of bringing awareness to climate change and encouraging dialogue around the topic.
A collection of 1-5 minutes plays (all of which revolve around the topic of climate change), written by international writers, have been made available to collaborators around the globe to use in hosting events, ranging from readings to fully-staged performances.
Randolph-Macon College Theatre Arts Acting and Directing students and the Environmental Studies program are proud to present a reading of plays by Elaine Avila, Darrah Cloud, Mindi Dickstein, Jordan Hall, Naomi Iizuka, Deborah Laufer, E.M. Lewis, Kevin Loring, Silvia Peláez, Elyne Quan, Saviana Stanescu, Caridad Svich and Elspeth Tilley.
Please join us for the event and to engage in conversation about this global topic on Friday, November 20th in the Brock Commons.
