Climate Change Theatre Action LA

The planet is warming. What does this mean for us as human beings, for our relationships, and our communities? It’s a great subject for theatre – and we want to help inspire LA’s theatre community to find ways to tell the story.

Join the Los Angeles theatre community on NOVEMBER 3RD at 7 PM at the Moss Theatre in Santa Monica for an evening of science, short plays, live music, videos, and conversation on the subject of Climate Change. 

Featuring: 

Readings of new short plays by an international group of playwrights including: Chantal Bilodeau, Catherine Butterfield, John DiFusco, Dipika Guha, Marilyn Haese, E.M. Lewis, Neil LaBute, Elyne Quan, and August Schulenburg. Actors include: Ron Bottitta, J. Nicole Brooks, Ann Gee Byrd, John DiFusco, Arye Gross, Rob Nagle, Dileep Rao, Inger Tudor, and more to be announced. Directed by Emilie Beck, Elina de Santos, John DiFusco, Robin Larsen, and Michael Michetti.

A multimedia presentation by climate scientist Joshua Fisher of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory

Hosted by environmentalist, journalist and actress Belinda Waymouth

Live music by the Climate Coolers, featuring Paul Lacques
(I See Hawks in LA, Double Naught Spy Car) and Mike Tempo (Bonedaddys)
